This was part of our orientation (in Sarasota, Florida, Oct 2-10th) to the field of Russia. Really! We were reading from Nyet to Da- after each chapter we went for a dip in the gulf. Many thanks to Grandma Charlotte and Grandpa Andy for taking care of the kids back in Canada.  Posted by Hello

This is another possible area where we may locate in Asia. Some are reindeer herders and therefore are nomads for a large part of the year. Emma would love to be with the reindeer:) I think even we may get tired of moving around, although some of you would think this would be perfect for us! I guess I could strap the babies on the backs of reindeer. I wonder what reindeer tastes like? Posted by Hello

Altai is one location where we may live in Siberia. It is absolutely beautiful, kinda like around here:) There would be lots of rockclimbing and extreme sports ministries for David to be involved with and maybe I could teach english outside:) They would know all the different words for mountain and beautiful. How many different words for mountain are there??? Posted by Hello

upcoming events for us:

Tuesday Nights- 40 days of purpose, college age meeting (7:30pm our house)
Thursday Nights- Introduction to Russian at University of Calgary 7:00-9:00pm This week we can't use our Alphabet reference page, yikes......
Saturday Morning-Afternoon- TESL at U of C 9:00-6:00 Last Week! yippee! We will be doing a sample lesson in front of the class, yikes! I am sure it is a little more stressful teaching a bunch of other english speaking teachers than russians who know just a little english. At least I hope so!
Sunday Morning- this week- "Ministry and Missions Fair" @ Chestermere Christian Fellowship during and following service. We will have international finger foods and russian tea and borscht and displays from about a dozen mission boards, both local and foreign.

November 12-18th- Erin, Emma and Josiah to Thunder Bay for a visit. Let me know if there is anything exciting or not so exciting to go to while I'm in Thunder Bay:) Contact no. in Thunder Bay 344-1658 or 577-5297.
