Merry Christmas!

I have so much I could be blogging about but I just haven't got around to it.  I will try to remember to take lots of pictures and remember some good stories to share with you but for now I just wanted to be sure to say "Merry Christmas!" 
It is so so great to be with family and friends....

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....   thanks to the great decorations that my mom and shannon gave us and the kids new pj's  (thanks mom)   If you know where we live come stop by, we have plenty of tea:)

Some pix from the last few days..   We got a tree!  The kids LOVED going out and cutting one down.  We've been enjoying shopping and hairdressers and trying to enjoy the dentist :)  

Proof that we are in Thunder Bay.  It's SO good to be here.  We've been here since saturday, seems like longer in a way because we've done so much but it's been short enough that this is the first time i've really sat down and look at pictures i've taken and had a chance to write.

We are enjoying being with family and friends very much.  Being away makes you appreciate times with family so much more.  My mom is spoiling us all, but she has to pack in 3 years of spoiling when we are home :)   Course she spoils us over there too with all her packages...hmmm...  

We just moved into our home for the month.  We have a great basement apartment to live in with a cozy fireplace, if you are in TBay come and visit us! 

We have had our hairs cut, wardrobes updated a little bit, and tomorrow we start fixing up our teeth.  not really looking forward to that but we've had the initial checkup with the dentist and she is very kind so the app'ts shouldn't be too horrible. 

I should be updating more frequently now that we are settled in for a bit of a longer stay.  one month is short i guess but lately it's been 3 days here and 2 days there so a month seems like a long time to us :)

Thanks for checking in on us.  We had some adventures getting here from immigration offices to snow storms but all is well now. 

Looking forward to spending time with many of you this month!

Visiting their school...

Yesterday, the kids got to go meet their teachers and classmates.  We are so glad that Emma, Jo and Huddy get to attend the school near us in Three Hills.  They all went there last time we were home and loved it.  When Emma walked into her (now gr.5) class, all the kids said "It's Emma!!!!"   They are so glad to have her back with them. (she was with them in Grade 2 and now Josiah will have the same excellent Grade 2 teacher).  They all really seemed to enjoy being in the class and are excited to start when we return to Alberta in January.  Emma is especially glad that her friend Skye is in the same class again.  so nice....
