Cars might be way more expensive here but at least gas is reasonable :)   Yes...this was the pump we filled up our car with. 

Crossing Lake Baikal

Some of you have heard a bit about David's lastest siberian adventure.  There are some things that men just like to do...like crossing a frozen lake just to cross back to where they started from.  88km of just walking.  on hard, slippery ice.  super hard on the joints, muscles, everything...  but somehow fun for them.   There was a group of 30 guys that trekked across Lake Baikal (the biggest (by volume) and oldest lake in the world:)  Besides a group of germans and David it was all russian and buryat men.  They had great times of fellowship..all kinds of characters.  One guy couldn't make it so you'll see him on the sled (with David pushing him).  Amazing that everyone else (they aren't all in great shape) made it there and back.  I'm not sure what the next adventure will be...
